Willis Contract Ended 12-31-24

Dear NWA Community,

We write to inform you that NWA Black Heritage’s consulting agreement with Emma Willis of ImpactPeriod on all matters including the Proposed Black Historic District and Signature Collection was concluded last year, December 31, 2024.
 
Residents of the proposed district, particularly Black residents and descendants of the historic community, deserve a complete understanding of the options presented in the Fayetteville Black Historic Context Statement to which they shared personal and historical information. In that spirit, NWABH is working closely with the City of Fayetteville to explore all the possibilities proposed in the Historic Context Statement, including the pros and cons for land owners in the proposed district.

All property owners within the proposed district have and will continue to be invited to participate in these informational meetings.
